Park Board

Description: Independently elected, semi-autonomous body responsible for maintaining and developing the Enid Park system. 
 
Purpose: To serve in a capacity of advice and assistance to the City of Enid in the planning and operation of all parks owned and operated by the City. To advise with and recommend plans for the development of parks. To advise with the City in its overall coordination of the park program. To inform and instruct the public on matters involving the City parks. To promote the use of parks both by individual initiative and recreational programs as appropriate. 
 
Qualifications: Nine members who are citizens of the City of Enid. 
 
Terms of Office: Terms are for three years. 
 
Schedule of Meetings: This Board meets the second Tuesday of each month.
