Commercial Service:

There are 3 commercial routes that are serviced by 2 front load commercial trucks and 2 rear load commercial trucks. We also have 3 roll off trucks that pick up commercial and industrial solid waste in large 30-yard open top containers and 40-yard compactors. The commercial trucks operate 5 days a week, Monday thru Friday. There are 2 collectors assigned to the commercial rear load trucks. There are 7 people assigned to the commercial routes, with a department supervisor and 1 foreman for both residential and commercial systems.

 ROLL OFF FEES

The minimum rental fee for one City owned 30 cubic yard and/or one 25 cubic yard open top container is $15.00 per week (11-5-07), $60.00 per lift fee, $21.00 per ton Landfill fee, must be emptied at least 2 times a month.

DUMPSTER FEES

The minimum fee for one City owned 2 cubic yard container, for commercial use, is $22.20 per month for one time a week pickup, a 4 cubic yard container is $38.20 per month for one time a week pickup. Every additional yard is $8. The rent per month  is $6.20 regardless of the size.  We rent 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8 yard Front and Rear Load Dumpsters. Front Load containers are the the prodominent type we rent since they are emptied on an automated basis, however we do rent rear loads, dumpsters which are mostly used for hard to reach areas such as the downtown areas.
