Making the Most of Your New Poly-Cart Trash Collection Service

Instructions and Tips for You as a Poly – Cart Customer

The Enid Solid Waste Department is providing you with this 96-gallon barrel (roll

poly-cart), which will be used for the collection of bagged residential trash.

The City of Enid will collect the trash from these carts in automated

trucks equipped with a specially designed arm that grasps and empties the carts.

The day of the week for your pick up will remain the same.

DO NOT (because of special handling requirements)

1. Put any liquids, especially motor oil, gasoline, anti-freeze or paint in your barrel.

2. Put hot ashes in the container – make sure your fireplace ashes or barbeque

charcoals are cold and double bagged before placing in the container.

3. Put soil, sand, uncut or untied branches, bricks, concrete, building material, auto

parts, scrap metal, tires, and dead animals in the cart.

4. Leave container in the street after your pick up day.
